The largest virtual reality event in the world will take place in Madrid and serves to launch a new meta-verse.
The Cryptocurrency Training Academy MundoCrypto is active in the Spanish-speaking world and hosts this Virtual Reality (VR) event.
On August 27, 7,500 guests will be invited to the WiZink Center in Madrid, they are trying to set a world record in the VR category and at the same time create a new world record category for the metaverse.
The largest virtual Reality event and the Guinness Book of Records
The Guinness World Record for the most VR users at an event is currently 1,867 participants. However, this record was set in 2017, before the metaverse existed.
To oversee the event, the Guinness Book of Records sends 15 people. Participants will wear VR headsets into which phones can be plugged. Headphones should intensify the experience even more.
On Saturday afternoon at 17:00 CET, the event is scheduled to start and last until midnight. The seven-hour virtual reality event will be broadcast in English and Spanish in more than 100 countries.
Mani Thawani is the founder of MundoCrypto. “My team and I are proud that we have taken on an important role in the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies over the past three years through our online trainings. That’s why now is the time to bring the crypto community to a special place in our heart, to Madrid. Here we want to offer a unique physical experience in the metaverse – and why not break a world record right away?”
Activities at the event
Participants can not only let off steam in the gaming area, in an NFT room and a training room, but also watch presentations of crypto personalities and take part in the Guinness Book of Records. We would also like to make it possible to network with investors and entrepreneurs from the crypto world.
Tickets for the event cost 50 euros, but they will be refunded as soon as the cardholder shows up for the event.
